If you have been trying to get to the OrgazmoDVD or CrapTV sites, don't worry. Matttttttttttt tells us that they will only be down for about one more day, then we can see the all-new fancy-shmancy sites!

orgazmodvd.com and craptv.com are moving to their new homes. So they will be down for about 2 days. It kind of happened to us with out warning. Otherwise I would have said something about it. The good news about this is. In about 2 days both of those sites are going to launch!
Yeehaw! I'm looking forward to browsing through the Crap store and adding a bunch of stuff to my Christmas list.

Be sure to watch the Creative Arts Emmy highlight special extravaganza blowout uh, thing on E! September 21 at 8 eastern. A television crew was filming at South Park Studios yesterday afternoon for the Emmys. My guess is that it will be for the Creative Arts side of things, since that's where the guys are nominated, but no one ever said Hollywood would do things logically. Darrel Hammond is hosting the Creative Arts Emmys (I love his Jesse Jackson) and Conan O'Brien is hosting the "real" Emmys on Sunday, September 22. So you should really watch both, I suppose. Conan needs your love.

Whoah! Long time, no update! I got back from my vacation in Chicago a few days ago, and have been trying to catch up ever since! It was quite amusing to see Cannibal! The Musical on stage - especially because the group putting on the production, the Great Beast Theater Company, contains two fellow Hastings College almuni. Imagine my surprise! I only wish my trip to Chicago had been earlier in the summer so I could have urged you all to see this. Unfortunately August 17, the day I went, was the last day.

Now for GOOD news! The links section is now active! It's small, but may grow with your help. Email us if you know of any sites you think should be included. We will check out all sites and decide if they fit in. Girly tells me that the first of our Picture Pages should be up within the next two weeks. I have seen what she's done so far and it is amazing! You will not be disappointed in having to wait so long!

HAPPY 5TH ANNIVERSARY SOUTH PARK!
Congratulations to Matt & Trey and everyone who works on the show! And don't forget the pay-per-view party premiering September 3!

lovetreyparker from the SPS BBS found an interview with Antonio Banderas on madblast.com in which he expresses his admiration for Trey & Matt. Here's what, how do you say....Antonio had to say about Ms. Cartman's blow-up doll:

I loved that because I love Trey Parker. I love his movies, all those Troma productions, Cannibal: The Musical is one of my favorites and Orgazmo is fantastic. If these guys call me one day I might do a movie with them. I am totally serious.
For those of you with cable in America, according to TVNow USA Network is going to show BASEketball again. This time on Monday, August 19 at 11am eastern. I think we all know how well BASEketball works on USA. More promising is the fact that Cinemax #2 will be showing Orgazmo Tuesday, August 29 at 4:35am. I know we'll all be staying up for that one!

And finally, just to prove how pervasive South Park is in popular culture, I offer these three links:
Know your film quotes!
Know your black television characters!
Know your CFO salaries! (It's there...towards the bottom...just skim.)

Click Me!
I love it when a gem like this shows up in my inbox amid the 20-odd emails for various get-rich-quick schemes.

I'm going on vacation this week - so there might be one or two more updates from me before that time. One week from today, though, I should be viewing "Cannibal! The Musical" onstage in Chicago. This could either be really good, or really suck. Rest assured, I'll give you my full review. I've seen reports from two people on two different message boards who have seen it.

You can find more information on the performance at the Chicago Reader website (but beware, the reviewer here thinks the story is about the Donner Party) and at the Great Beast Theater website.

Actual Size
Mr. Mattt at the OrgazmoDVD Forum says CrapTV's newest incarnation will debut sometime this month. The site will include shorts like the old version of the site, but will also have a CrapTV store & "Crappy-Bay" where you will be able to bid on rare Cannibal! and Orgazmo schwag. Sounds pretty damn sweet to me!
The OrgazmoDVD site itself should be up sometime in September, and will open before the release of the Orgazmo DVD. There is still no set release date on that.

So I've been on this big true crime kick lately, and I checked out a bunch of books from the library, including one about forensic science called Bodies of Evidence by Brian Innes. it has a bunch of little insets about different crimes, and I was amused to find this about the one and only Alferd Packer! Click on the picture to see the full piece. Man, Trey REALLY looked like Packer, didn't he?!

Here's some other tidbits. The Parents Television Council is back at it. Of course "South Park" is on their list of the worst things on television. No one is really worried, though.

Comedy Central spokesman Tony Fox dismissed the PTC's new report. "After their fiasco with the WWE, I question whether they have any credibility whatsoever," he said.
1. WWE kicked the PTC's butt in court, which you can read about in the article; and 2. It's not THE WWE - it's just WWE. No one would say "The World Wrestling Entertainment"! (Sorry, it's a pet peeve.)

Is this a backhanded compliment? "South Park" sure seems to get a lot of those.
Gibson said: "The British invented comedy. Once it was Monty Python, Blackadder and Ab Fab. Now its South Park, Friends and Frasier. Why? Because we've forgotten to focus on what's important - writing talent.

And finally, this.
August is a dry month. Even on cable. "South Park," though new, hasn't lit any fires lately.
Where do I start? "South Park" doesn't have any new episodes in August, but it certainly has lit a few fires. Perhaps this chick hasn't heard of the Catholic religion? It's all good, though, because as I read further I realized what a twit she is. She mentions that people will compare "Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law" with "Space Ghost", but that they are two different shows. Yeah, they're different shows, but they're both made by Williams Street. I hate people sometimes.
