In honor of South Park's season one release on DVD, ifilm has assembled a couple of clips for your viewing pleasure. Of course, when I tried to watch one, it completely froze my computer necessitating a push of the reset button. I'll give it a whirl later when I'm at work using a better computer.

I am afraid I have bad news about the Orgazmo DVD. It's not horrible news....but not good either. When we told you that the DVD was slated for fall. We were correct...we just got the year wrong. If any of you had checked out the ol' IMDB. You would have seen that "THE BOOK OF ORGAZMO" has a release date of 2003 now as it use to have a 2002 date on it. So the good news out of all of this is Universal had decided that they will release it. There were times where we thought they were not going to. Jason was even go as far as to look for other places that WOULD release it.

The above comes from Mattt over at the OrgazmoDVD.com forum. To make up for the bad news, though, he gave us a little deleted scene from Orgazmo to tide us over for a bit. You can view it by clicking on the screenshot above - right-click to save.

This article mentions South Park for one second, but, well, I'll just let you come up with your own conclusion on this one.

If you happen to live in Asspen, passes are on sale for next year's US Comedy Arts Festival. This past year, Matt & Trey were members (uh huh huh) of the Freedom in the Arts round-table forum. This year, Michael Moore & Kevin Smith will participate. The festival will also feature a live performance of "Mr. Show" by MNT comrades David Cross & Bob Odenkirk. Check out the info nyaw.

So, let me get this straight: there's a big Hollywood party, and to get in, you have to bring a toy for Toys for Tots? Let's take a look at some of the contributions:
"South Park" creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker wrote a $10,000 check, which will buy a heck of a lot of toys. Sean Patrick Thomas brought a Tonka Truck, Jay Hernandez brought a Hyper Ride race car set, and Melissa Rivers chucked in Rumble Robots Invasion.
MNT make those other celebs look like total schmucks, eh? I love it.

Short and sweet, my friends:
Girly Says:
Woo-Fucking-Hoooo!!!!! That was big fat Oprah titties right there!! I didn't realize how much I missed Kenny until he showed up tonight. Wow. That of course wasn't the only thing that was good about the show. It's kind of timely for me. I just watched Black Hawk Down the other night. I thought the mimicry of the crash scene was clever. I wonder if they are going to have a joke about Jesus coming back after three days in a future episode. I still can't believe Kenny's back. That is so tits!!!

Zuzu Says:
Very good! I loved the device of bringing in some older stuff - Mr. Hankey, the Underpants Gnomes, Cartman's happy singing, "This is pretty fucked up right here", "They killed Jesus....Bastards". Speaking of Jesus, I loved the bit at the end when Santa reminded everyone that Jesus gave his life for the people. It was, like, blasphemous, but not. The way Kenny just showed up at the end and everyone was like, "where you been" was hilarious! I have always figured MNT would have Kenny just show back up without saying anything. My only complaint has nothing to do with this show: why the hell is Comedy Central running that stupid farking LOTR episode again already!?
Girly seems to be having a mammary preoccupation. :D Hey, speaking of naughty bits, someone at Cox News Service appreciates South Park's Christmas spirit.
"Merry ----ing Christmas," from "South Park" -- In this xenophobic, politically incorrect ditty, from the album "Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics," Mr. Garrison, the teacher, rails with foul-mouthed glee against several religions that don't celebrate Christmas. Not for the easily offended -- or anyone who might take this stuff literally.
Davd Fleming of Esspehn the Magazine also puts South Park's unique brand of Christmas right up there. But come on, Rudolph is a better special than South Park for Christmas? I HATE THAT CREEPY CLAYMATION-Y STUFF!

Good ol' Zap2It has a feature on "Red Sleigh Down" which I would have posted earlier, but, well, I didn't see it because I've been frantically trying to finish my damn Christmas shopping.

Last, but certainly not least, Girly has finished the picture page containing the great 5th Anniversary screen shots Jackie sent us. Now I really feel like a slacker! :P

Episode 617: Red Sleigh Down
Click me for ~780k version
With the help of Santa, Mr. Hankey and Jesus, Cartman attempts to bring the Christmas spirit to the downtrodden citizens of Iraq in a brand new episode of "South Park," premiering Wednesday, December 11 at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL.

Once again, it's Christmas time in South Park. When all the tallies are in, Cartman is overdrawn in the "naughty" column and has to score one big "nice" to be eligible for Christmas presents this year. Cartman latches on to the opportunity to score some points with Santa by spreading some international goodwill. He enlists Santa to deliver the gifts he's made to the less fortunate in Iraq.

When Santa's sleigh is shot down as he tries to deliver the presents, Cartman is screwed. He and the boys call on Mr. Hankey and Jesus to liberate Santa from his captors and save Cartman from the worst Christmas ever.

Someone at the Oregon Daily Emerald should check their editorials before posting them. "Look out if Mohammed ever appears on "South Park."" Yeah, that happened QUITE a while ago. We all remember "Super Best Friends" don't we?

Eek - well, I didn't die and I made it through the weekend. I even managed to make it through Walmart without anyone dieing - which is QUITE a feat. I HATE WALMART! VIVE LE SHOPKO! Er, sorry...

This is actually just a short post to let you know that the ever-amazing GirlyGirl has completed the Orgazmo Eye Candy page! This page has a TON of images, including screencaps from Jackie!

This update will be short and sweet, as I'm feeling very sickly. 'Tis the season for crud, and I think I've caught some. We would offer you the preview of next week's episode, but they copped out again with that generic "All new South Park next week" crap. So instead, you just get our unsolicited opinion on last night's episode:
Girly Says:
Again, a really awesome episode! These guys are on a roll. There wasn't *anything* I didn't like about this one. Not one thing. It's been a long time since I've been able to say that. The hand chopping scene reminded me of "Pinkeye". Ah, the good 'ol days. Now, if you all will excuse me, I have to go read my future self a bedtime story so she'll let me sleep tonight. :)

Zuzu Says:
This run of episodes continues to be consistently good. The thing that struck me the most about this episode was the way all the characters were true to their characteristics; Stan's parents are completely clueless, Butters' parents overreact (first getting angry, then sobbing and apologetic), Stan is his somewhat cynical, laid-back self, and Cartman was just vintage Cartman.
I'm going to crawl back into bed now. Stupid crud!

This update is brought to you by the Friends of MNT.com Foundation, which only exists in theory, but it's looking more and more like we need to start one up. We love hearing from our visitors, and when they offer us something to add to the site, it's even better! There's so much to talk about, I'm not sure where to start!

How about the preview for next week's episode, courtesy of beefylogs? Right-click to save right nyaw. This file is a bit larger than the previous ones, as it's in .avi format this time, and you may need to download the latest Divx codec to view it properly. And speaking of beefylogs, he is involved with an irc network dealing exclusively in South Park episodes. Check it out on the irc server irc.spepisodes.com, channel #southpark-episodes. Thanks to Red|Serv for the info!

I thought last week's episode was so good, I made my husband stay up late last night to watch it. He was disappointed about the lack of Loch Ness Monster, but thought the Rob Schneider stuff was great - as did just about everyone else I've talked to! Thanks to another of our online friends, Lesa, you can now relive the magic with these mp3s: (Sorry, all the Christmas shopping advertisements are starting to get to me.)
The Stapler promo
A Carrot promo
Da Derp Dee Derp Da Teetley Derpee Derpee Dumb promo
Kenny promo
Actual Hot Chick promo
And thanks to rocker-skater-2002 at PlanetSouthPark, I figuratively got up off my lazy ass and updated the South Park episode guide - even though it's nothing more than a list with a link to SPS. And that makes my slacking all the more pathetic.
