November 12, 2002 is the release date for Season One of South Park on DVD! SPS.com reports that the set will contain 3 DVDs, each with commentary by Matt & Trey. It's about bleedin' time! Maybe they listened to all those petitions out there. Now if we can get Trey to listen to all the folks signing the Orgazmo II Petition, we'll be in binness!

Charles Song over at South Park Studios reports that Ass-Faced Kenny dolls are now available and that Butters dolls are on the way! If you go buy one you could be just like Kelly Osbourne or (ugh) A.J. McLean! (No funky beard required)

Completely biased reviews of last night's episode:

GirlyGirl Says: I really liked the episode overall, I've watched it three times already! I think that Butters as Professor Chaos is one of the funniest ideas they've ever had. I also liked the little homage to Black & White they put in there. Very clever. However, Chef's part in the episode fell flat for me. His lines were kinda boring and the animation was a little wierd. *shrug* I did like the part with the couch though. hehe... suck it out of a hose...... :)

Zuzu Says: I just love Butters, especially as Professor Chaos! I also loved Cartman in this episode. When he went off after he realized the Sea People were just brine shrimp, and when he was so matter-of-factly dealing with the woman at the sperm bank, I just laughed like crazy! I thought the Simpsons-style animation was very cool, but they managed to keep the whole episode from turning into a "theme" episode. Good times. :)

South Park Insults to Injury DVD is available now - The episodes included are "It Hits The Fan," "Cripple Fight," "Proper Condom Use," and "Scott Tenorman Must Die." There's a small mention/review thingy at IGN FilmForce.

In other South Park-related news, Video Store Magazine reports that we may be seeing more South Park merchandise!
In addition to Viacom’s new program to license out holiday perennial It’s a Wonderful Life and MGM’s classics push, the notable surge in cult-film licensing activity includes Universal’s The Fast and the Furious, as well as Viacom’s “South Park,” Top Gun and “Star Trek,”
It's A Wonderful Life is Zuzu's favorite movie (she's named after one of the characters, after all)...does this mean we could soon be seeing ZUZU DOLLS?!

We hope you're getting as excited about the new episode as we are! Only one hour to go for Zu, so by the time some of you read this, it will already have aired. Zu is getting confused!

Well, we want to send out a big thank you to breayle at SPS.com for providing a link to this very site! Bre, if you're reading this, you's our dawg, dawg!

And now, for your downloading pleasure, the semi-exclusive Larry Elder roast clip! This baby is about 2 minutes, 30 seconds in length, a little over 2MB in size, and in Quicktime format. Remember boys and girls, right-click to save, but if you try to just click on it and watch it, it might take a bit to load if traffic is heavy.

So did you like the intro for Most Notorious, folks? Good ol' Charles Song at SPS.com posted a little background on those clips:

You might be asking yourself (or rather, me): Where the hell did Matt and Trey tape their "Great Destinations" introduction to South Park's Most Notorious Episode? It's so purty!

Answer: Snoqualmie, Washington. Better known as the exterior location for David Lynch's landmark TV series, "Twin Peaks." They even had the diner with the cherry pie and everything.

Q: What the hell were they doing in Snoqualmie?
A: It was the location for our latest writers retreat. Happy?

To learn more about Snoqualmie, David Lynch, or cherry pie, visit your local library... before the government shuts it down.

Luscious T over on the SPS.com BBS asked what y'all might expect to see on MNT.com in the near future. While this is all subject to change, and subject to suggestion here are a few things we have in mind:

  • Bios
  • Links to good, up-to-date sites
  • Sections on each major work, including DVDA
  • LOTS of pictures
  • News
  • Downloads (soundclips, screen captures)

Well, the title is starting to make a *little* more sense. Episode 607: Simpsons Already Did It airs on Comedy Central June 26.

Here's what Charles "butters" Song has to say over on SPS.com:
The boys break into Ms. Choksondiks’ autopsy to retrieve Cartman’s Sea men from her stomach.
Meanwhile, as Professor Chaos, Butters moves forward with yet another diabolical plan to destroy the world.
