It's Fan Participation Day! Nobby is our hero right now. She has been kind enough to send us her scans of the November 18, 2000 feature on Matt & Trey. You can click on the thumbnails below to check them out. We'll be transcribing the article to put on the site, as well. Beware - these pictures are HUGE and AWESOME! Steve Pappas, AKA steviekeyz, created MIDI versions of a couple of songs from Trey's Immature collection. Here's what steviekeyz had to say: this was so easy to learn by ear, but the 1st attempt at learning this song by ear didnt go so well i was working way to hard thinking that it was a hard piece to get all those notes. the truth is once i found the 4 chords it took me 2 seconds to learn the rest by ear. its just a tempo variation of the same 4 chords :)These are really awesome, I have to say. Right-click to save! I'm In Love With Myself MIDI Sri Lankan Woman MIDI You can get Trey's original versions in our Immature Sounds section. Last, but not least, we've added two images to our Dian Bachar Eye Candy gallery. These were sent to us by Ryan, whose sister met Dian at a hotel in Colorado. He told us a little about it: She said that she had just got out of the elevator and she saw him checking out at the desk. She freaked out and started screaming and pointing at him saying "Oh my god!! It's Squeak!!" She recognized him 'cause I'm such a big fan of Matt and Trey's movies and watch them all the time. No one else knew who he was so they just stared at her like she was crazy. She said he was shy and just like "Hey." "That's cool." Then as she was leaving she said he kept looking at her like she was insane. And she is, mind you.I have to say, no offense, but Dian looks a little more thrilled to have his picture taken with the gal than with the two dudes. <@:) ~~Zuzu September 23, 2003 8:35pm CDT OH yes! The highly anticipated final section of Eye Candy is now here! View the pictures of Matt & Trey TOGETHER in all their ridiculous glory! Girly slaved LONG and HARD over this gallery, folks. If you live in or around Evansville, Indiana, you can see South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut on November 18 at 6pm and Bowling for Columbine on December 2. Apparently one of the classes at the University of Southern Indiana offers free public screenings. Check out MyInKy.com for more information. If you have Sirius satellite radio, you can catch Eliza Jane Schneider, the voice for most of the female characters on "South Park", on "Radio Playbill". Playbill.com has the dates and times. ~~Zuzu September 12, 2003 8:35pm CDT Are you visiting the Fudge, Packer? message board? If not, you missed Dian Bachar's appearance. He stopped by to promote his newest web show, Roommates. Check it out here. Thanks to Will at SPScriptorium for this link with information on the "South Park" Third Season DVD set. We're not getting full-episode commentary, but a little bit is better than none, if you ask me! Marc Shaiman and his partner will be sharing a stage with the ever-fabulous, always-creepy John Waters at "An Evening With John Waters, Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman" in Baltimore on Monday. Clever title, eh? Find more information on SunSpot.com. Here's some more information regarding "South Park" coming up for syndication. This comes from eonline: ... $100 million. That's about what Comedy Central's South Park is expected to pick up as it moves into syndication in the next two or three years. Here's a great quote from, of all things, a review of Dickie Roberts in the Anchorage Daily News. There's something to be said about that whole "South-Park"-esque humor. You know that it must be degrading to society and people as a whole, but still, it's funny, and you can't help but laugh.~~Zuzu September 5, 2003 11:00pm CDT The big news on the MattnTrey front is the deal with Debmar Studios to sell the syndication rights for "South Park". That's big enough in and of itself, but naturally, there has to be controversy. This is Matt & Trey we're talking about! So what's the heat? There's probably going to be even more bleeping in syndication than there ever has been on Comedy Central. "South Park" is predicted to become the highest-grossing series to come from cable to syndication. So somehow, I don't think a few beeps are going to bother the boys too much. ;) You can read all about the to-do at MSNBC, TV Barn, and a few various online papers, like this one. Check out the latest "underground" cartoon to be dubbed "the next 'South Park'" in this article. This article from the Palm Beach Post has nothing to do with "South Park" other than a mention, but I found it highly amusing & thought I would pass it along. ~~Zuzu |
